I would throughly recommend Elise to you if you are buying a property in the Alps. She is very professional in her approach and nothing seems to be too much trouble. She even went up into the "grenier" of the property I eventually bought, to take photos of the beams - in February, using an outside ladder and with thick snow around.
I found her quick replies to any questions and sense of humour most reassuring. When I completed on my purchase in May Elaise seemed genuinely pleased for me. and I am sure we will to be in contact. Many thanks Elise.

Things don't always go completely smoothly in buying property in France. What so impressed us with working with Elise, was her professionalism and honesty when things did get sticky, even when, at one point that meant advising us to take steps that might have brought the purchase to a close and thus losing her potential commission.

From first meeting Elise at the 2009 French Property Exhibition in Harrogate to the signing of the Acte de Vente, she was a true professional. We weren't ignorant about what was involved in buying a property in France having researched matters on the web and read up on relevant reference material. But we weren't bi-lingual and we weren't 'on the spot' living in France. It was evident from the start that Elise had a thorough grounding in all aspects of property purchase; the legal process, tax implications, renovation issues etc. Her translation skills, both verbal and in relation to the various legal documents, were invaluable. She was not pushy yet made sure we were aware of all implications and requirememts at every step. She was very reassuring but realistic. More to the point, we didn't have 'mega-bucks' but we felt she gave us her full attention and treated us like valued clients. She certainly put more in than we expected which made matters far easier for us, more comprehensible and enabled the purchase to run smoothly. To be fair, we can't make an objective comparison but as professionals ourselves, we were able to recognise the high standards and ethical values she brought to bear throughout the process. We continue to avail ourselves of her services as we move in to the next phase of our career and lifestyle change; and why wouldn't we? It's a big step to take and in our books, Elise and her firm have already proved their worth.
